Media h/w - Technology

Media has improved over the years. Back then there was no BBC iPlayer or other websites which allowed you to watch any programmes at anytime.
Back in the days they had to watch their favourite shows on time whereas now we can watch it at anytime or anyday. It was unlucky for them back then because if they had missed their programme then they cannot watch it again unless the channel repeats the programme next week or so.
Luckily thanks to the improvement of technology we can watch out favourite show anytime, anywhere and anyday whether its 2-3 days later, even a week. Not only that, we can watch it live on the internet.
Last week i was busy playing my MMO games online and couldnt watch the Manchester United game which was live on TV. My parents were watching the TV and I didn't want to miss the game as im a big fan. So what i did was opened a new window and went onto the ITV website and watched the game live and at the same time i played my game.
So this is how much technology has improved, also next to the game was a chat box were a lot of people could communicate and share their views of the game.
Also it had links to other competitions such as the UEFA Champions League so if you've missed a game you can just click onto that link and select the game that you want to watch.

Clever Editing

The jump turned out to be a failure as asad speilberg hasn't used the corrects camera shot behind the actor, infront of the actor and worms eye view. The eyeline match turned out to be a very good example in the video as the handsome actor riyad nerd khan had a shocking momment of the discovery of the possible murder in the toilet. The final shot was the cliched mirror scene as riyad looked into the mirror and saw the possible ghost of ridwan musclular man looking at him from the back. We set the camera in the right angle to get both riyad and ridwan in the shot as the mirror's was small and seperate and it was difficult to get both of them into one of the camera shots.

I cant really remember the name of this task but in this task i've helped with the editing. But for this task i think we could have done better, there wasnt much going on. We've learnt how to do some difficult camera shots but here it was very simple. Its important to start using the difficult camera shots so we can implement them onto our coursework which will give us better marks. But i thought the lighting here was excellent, i loved the flashing lights to make it look like an actual cat walk. 

One prespactive

In this task, me and one of the group member made the story board for this task. It was good that I took part making the story board because i am now familiar with it. I also helped editing which was helpful because I'm now used to it and can do editing quite quickly hopefully. 

I didnt have much chance with the camera so im still not sure of my camera skills. It's something i still need to take part in and do it because in my coursework i may need to use the camera at one point and it's very important that i get the hang of it now.

Quiet task

I wasnt in school this day to take part for this task. Anyway forget that, i think here the editing was good, so well done to my group member who done the editing for this task. But also credit to the other members who thought of the story board and the camera work. I think it was brilliant as the story board matched with the task name. But i think it couldve been better, the idea of the story here was a bit simple and many other students could do the exact same. But theres always room for improvement. Maybe next time we should be thinking of complex stuff for these kind of tasks so it helps us with out coursework where we can think gain more marks depending on how good it is.
